Comparing Dust Free to Traditional Tile Removal
DUST FREE TILE REMOVAL
Zero Exposure to Dust
With dust free tile removal processes, the homeowner and the workers are never exposed to silica dust. The equipment used during dustless tile removal is designed to suck up the dust particles the instance they are created. This means you are left with a cleaner, more efficient.
Healthier for Everyone
Tile demolition produces large quantities of silica tile dust. Our DustRam® equipment system eliminates any dust that is created during the removal process leaving your home completely free of dust.
Leveled Subfloor & Ready for Installation
DustRam® has 21 patents on equipment and tools leaving your subfloor significantly smoother, cleaner, flatter, and ready for the floor installation. In comparison to the traditional process that leaves you with a floor that is uneven and rough.
Advanced Technology, Tools, & Equipment
Our patented equipment allows us to remote vinyl, ceramic tile, wood flooring, remove paint, adhesive, and profile plywood and concrete completely dust free. Our process brings your subfloor into the correct tolerance for floor installation with a flatter, smoother floor.
TRADITIONAL TILE REMOVAL
Traditional tile removal processes are outdated and do not offer the same level of detail necessary to completely capture respirable silica dust. While traditional tile removal methods can be more affordable, they leave you with a dusty mess that pervades your entire home. Exposure to silica dust results in lung cancer, kidney disease, silicosis and sometimes can be fatal. There are too many drawbacks with the traditional method that are simply not worth it.
Anybody that inhales silica dust is at a high risk of developing life-threatening diseases. About 2.3 million people are exposed to silica dust according to OSHA and this only includes workers. The dust particles are 100 times smaller than beach sand and can be fatal.
Not Prepared for Installation
Traditional tile floor removal does not leave your subfloor prepared for the installation process. A well-prepared floor should be clean, smooth, leveled, structurally sound, and dry. With dust free tile removal the floor is in perfect condition for the installation.
Outdated Tools and Processes
Traditional tile removal takes longer than dust free processes. This method leaves you with so much dust that on average, it takes months to remove it from your home. This method also costs more in the long run because you will need to hire a professional cleaning company to remove the dust. Additionally, the health risks that come with breathing in silica dust is the biggest price to pay.
